Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Care Aide to join our team in Carnarvon. This is a permanent part-time role, offering a contract of 27 hours per fortnight with a regular, ongoing roster.

Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to clients, enhancing participation in their own care to maintain independence. Responsibilities include personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting etc. and other support including medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community.

Servicing the following suburbs: Babbage Island, Brockman, Brown Range, Carnarvon, East Carnarvon, Greys Plain, Inggarda, Kingsford, Massey Bay, Morgantown, North Plantations, South Carnarvon, South Plantations

About You

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
• Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
• Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
• A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
