IT Governance Specialist

About the Role:

This position will oversee IT governance, ensuring that our technology infrastructure aligns with regulatory requirements. You will lead teams and stakeholders to manage risks and drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans for IT governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement processes and procedures that meet regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT risk management or a related field. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CPS 234 and CPS 230. Experience with project management methodologies like PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance principles, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Certifications like CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly valued.
