Transport Planner Role

">

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to our distribution centers.

Your key responsibilities will include planning and executing transport movements, supporting the front-end team, fostering relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and carrier partners, and performing daily transport planning activities in our Transport Management System (TMS).

You will also be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery targets are met, communicating with replenishment, warehouses, vendors, and transport carriers as required, and monitoring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in the retail/transport/logistics industry, strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, and excellent systems and computer skills. You must also demonstrate a high level of customer service and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
