The Role
As an Urban Development Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the project management team with administration, planning, and scheduling of daily project activities. You will ensure project outcomes meet contractual and project plan requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring effective programming and construction methodologies;
  • Project administration, planning, and scheduling;
  • Assisting in meeting project milestones and ensuring project compliance;
  • Conducting quality assurance;
  • Assisting in financial reporting;
  • Ensuring safe working conditions for staff and subcontractors.

Essential Skills and Attributes
You will need to possess a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Engineering in Civil Construction. Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities is also essential. You should have computer literacy, particularly experience working with MS Excel and MS Project applications. Strong planning, organising, and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.
