The role of a Social Worker is to provide support and assistance to students, parents and families.
This position involves undertaking individual and group counselling sessions, conducting professional social welfare assessments and interventions, and identifying needs and referring services to community agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering social welfare services to students, parents and families
- Conducting social welfare assessments and developing intervention strategies
- Identifying community resources and providing referrals
- Developing and implementing strategies to provide information and support to parents and the community
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with students, parents and families, and who has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality social welfare services.
Please note that the successful applicant will be appointed to the PO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the PO3 once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated.
