Director of Student Wellbeing

The Head of Pastoral Care is a key leadership role that focuses on developing and delivering a coherent pastoral care program to promote student wellbeing, inclusion, and effective partnerships.
This position involves leading the teaching staff in creating a supportive environment that fosters positive relationships between students, teachers, and parents.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a pastoral care program that prioritizes student wellbeing and inclusion.
- Advise on strategies to enhance student voice and facilitate effective partnerships between students, teachers, and parents.
- Implement the principles of the Science of Wellbeing across the Junior School years R-2, ensuring a smooth transition for students as they progress through their academic journey.
- A deep understanding of early years students and their unique needs, along with expertise in designing suitable pastoral care programs.
- Strong knowledge of Christian education principles and commitment to upholding these values.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and respect among the teaching team.
- Able to set high standards for student behavior and teacher performance, while promoting a culture of excellence.
- Comprehensive understanding of and commitment to equal opportunity and workplace safety principles.
