Assistant Venue Manager
About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to provide relief support and lead our venue teams across regional Queensland.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and company policies.
- Analyze and report on key business metrics for continuous hotel operations improvement.
- Manage financial resources, analyze data, and monitor sales and profits.
- Nurture relationships within the community to foster loyalty and understand customer needs.
- Develop effective marketing strategies to promote services.
- Handle maintenance issues, staffing shortages, equipment issues, renovations, etc.
- Current Approved Manager Licence, RMLV, Gaming Nominee, RSA, and RSG.
- Strong leadership, training, motivational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- High personal presentation standards.
- Availability to work varied hospitality hours.
- Ability to manage conflicts, remain calm under pressure, and work independently.
- In-depth understanding of Profit and Loss statements.
- Management experience in high-volume food, bar, function, gaming, and retail environments.
