About this opportunity:
As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering our growing client base, particularly our Veteran community living at home throughout Perth's South Eastern suburbs.
This is a great way to experience work-life balance in a friendly, supportive, and progressive team environment.
Shifts commence at 8:00 am Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts shared amongst the team.
You will be required to assist clients with personal care, light domestic assistance, and shopping.
As you will be visiting multiple clients in different locations throughout your shift, it is essential that you have your own vehicle.
You must be prepared to travel to Mt Helena.
This is a casual position with the ability to build upon your roster.
You will be paid for the entirety of the shift, with a 96c per km allowance included for travel between clients.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, and with the guidance of Registered Nurses, you will receive support during your work across the community care sector.
What we require:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a comparable role
- Cert III Aged, Disability, or Community Care
- Your own fully insured, reliable vehicle
- Current Driver's Licence
- Covid Vaccinations plus booster (essential for work in the Aged Care sector)
- National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Manual Handling
- Passport/Birth Certificate (proof of working rights)
