Reservations Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Reservations Agent to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our Portfolio team, you will be responsible for centrally managing reservations for a portfolio of 4 key Accor properties across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Reservation Management: Use our hotel Property Management System (PMS) to process and input all reservations types within the same working day.
- Guest Communication: Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate data is recorded for all reservations.
- Reservation Records: Maintain up-to-date reservation records.
- Communication: Ensure timely communication with guests in line with company policy and procedure.
- Sales and Yield: Maintain a positive selling approach to maximize yield in both occupancy and rates.
- Information Management: Assist in keeping all information accurate and up-to-date to ensure correct information is provided to guests.

- Guest Service: Demonstrate the ability and passion to deliver exceptional guest service over the phone and face-to-face.
- Sales Focus: Have a strong sales focus and the ability to upsell hotel features.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge and application of OPERA.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Team player with high level of initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge and application of Microsoft packages and PC usage.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Pressure Management: Loves a challenge and can work in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Presentation: Well-presented with a natural ability to build rapport both in person and over the telephone.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet.
