About the Role
  • You will work closely with Principal/Lead Business Engineers and Product Owners to define product vision and feature roadmaps.
  • As a key member of our squad, you will participate in requirement definition and execution, supporting the delivery of products.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing business analysis services and specialist support to the Workflow Crew. You will gather and document information, conduct analyses of business needs, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

You will also liaise with stakeholders to understand organizational structure, policies, and operations, and recommend solutions to achieve business goals. Additionally, you will complete project work stream deliverables, including quality control and sign-off for your area of accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide business analysis services and specialist support to the Workflow Crew.
  2. Gather and document information, conduct analyses of business needs, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  3. Liaise with stakeholders to understand organizational structure, policies, and operations, and recommend solutions to achieve business goals.
  4. Complete project work stream deliverables, including quality control and sign-off for your area of accountability.
  5. Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts on business processes resulting from system or application changes.
  6. Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes, and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  8. Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
  9. Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Business Engineer in case management solutions/workflow automation projects.
  • Good knowledge of Pega OOTB features, such as Flows, Flow Actions, Activities, User Interface, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), REST Connectors, and SOAP Services.
  • Strong experience in documenting epics, features, and user stories, and building case type backlogs.
  • Experience working in an Agile project environment.
  • Certified Pega Business Architect (preferably version 7 or later).
  • Pega Technical Background (certified as CSA).
