Job Title: Senior Nursing Leader
Nursing Leadership Opportunity in Adelaide Metro Southern
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse leader to lead the newly established corporate nursing Assistant In Nursing (AIN) team. This pivotal role will oversee the deployment and management of AINs across the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network, ensuring exceptional patient care and support for our nursing staff.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse/midwife with at least 3 years' post-registration experience to take on a leadership position. As the Nurse Manager, you will contribute to the development of corporate policies and processes, manage a centralised AIN pool of staff, and provide leadership and direction to ensure ongoing education and training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction
- Lead and manage a team of nurses to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and maintain quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- At least 3 years' full-time equivalent post-registration experience
- Effective leadership skills including communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation
