A significant opportunity exists for an experienced and skilled Building Inspector to join our organisation. As a valued member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Job DescriptionThis position involves conducting thorough building inspections to identify defects, safety hazards, and compliance issues. You will be responsible for providing detailed reports with practical recommendations to ensure the safety, integrity, and compliance of homes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills. You will work independently, yet be part of a supportive and purpose-driven team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct scheduled building inspections to identify defects, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
- Provide detailed reports with practical recommendations to ensure the safety, integrity, and compliance of homes.
- Must be a Registered/Licensed Builder.
- Must have completed Residential Building Inspections course.
- Must have proven experience as a Building Inspector or Registered/Licensed Builder.
- Must be physically capable of inspecting sub-floors, roof spaces, and external roofs.
- Must have strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Must be self-motivated, organised, and results-driven.
- Must have clear and professional communication skills.
- Must have police check and valid driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle.
