Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our high-performing teaching team.

The successful applicant will deliver and assess the Western Australian curriculum to Year 12, including subjects such as Food Science & Technology, Textiles and Child Development, Children, Family & Community, and Certificate III in Tourism.

A willingness to deliver lower-school Digital Technologies is an advantage. The successful applicant should have highly effective interpersonal skills, ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and the community, engage in reflective practice, and commit to whole-school pedagogical approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess the Western Australian curriculum to Year 12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and the community
  • Engage in reflective practice and commit to whole-school pedagogical approaches

Requirements

  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting
