The Opportunity
- Geelong location, with hybrid work from home
- APS6 level offering $60.26 plus super per hour, 12 months initial contract plus extensions
- Federal government role – must have Australian Citizenship
The Role
Key Responsibilities- Manage data and reporting insights for the OAAI Branch
- Review data collection, quality and reporting processes for OAAI teams
- Analyse data, identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
- Analyse intersectionality data and contribute to holistic reporting for the Agency
- Test insights and co-design recommendations with OAAI teams
- Engage other data and reporting functions, share information, tools and systems
- Convert information into consumable data for the Agency's Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Design, create and distribute accessible reporting and information
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a data analyst, reporting analyst, or similar
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability to collect, gather and transform data into usable insights, including visualisation to expand on insights
- Experience with using a range of Microsoft Power applications, Power BI, SQL, etc.
- Ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders to collect data, create and maintain reporting artefacts for senior leaders
- Strong attention to detail in producing reporting artifacts
- Government experience would be ideal
