We are seeking a Clinical Consultant to join our Trauma team in Darwin on a casual, on-call basis.
The nature of the employment would start as a casual role with requirements to work occasionally on weekends.
Standard weekday rates are $47.50 per hour.
Clinical Consultants play a vital role in moments that matter most - seconds, minutes and hours in which patients' lives are changed forever by skills and knowledge of caregivers.
Clinical Consultants:
- Provide technical and clinical specialist expertise to internal and external customers.
- Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in effective use of equipment.
- Conduct education training and support Territory Managers.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Science or Engineering, as well as understanding of operating theatre environment.
- Previous orthopaedic exposure or knowledge would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
- Strong communication skills and passion for successful patient outcome every time will ensure success in this role.
