About this Position

The Acusensus Global Product Development Leader will be responsible for the development and delivery of new enforcement technology solutions for the global markets served by Acusensus.

This role involves defining the product strategy and roadmap while pushing the boundaries towards the limits of physics, as well as driving culture by influentially modelling behaviours that contribute to a positive, inclusive and energised working environment.

The position demands cutting-edge product design, world-class manufacturing and strategic sourcing, with a focus on fostering employee performance and happiness across the NSW team.

Key responsibilities include building, nurturing, coaching and inspiring a talented and cohesive global product development and manufacturing team, as well as breaking down barriers faced by the team to unlock high levels of productivity and energy.

The Global Product Development Leader will define the long-term, global product roadmap, strategically plan and align resources according to priorities, and resolve competing requirements.

Fostering strong innovation is also crucial in this role, managing the fear of failure, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Timely delivering contractual obligations in product development and manufacturing to unprecedented levels of safety and quality is essential, as well as proactively creating space for creativity and continuous improvement across all aspects of product development and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading large engineering teams and a proven track record of influencing positive cultural strides, as well as strategic business knowledge and understanding.

A deep understanding of the laws of physics and how they apply in our existing and future product designs is required, along with the ability to conceive and conceptualise innovative solutions to complex problems, and drive continuous improvement in our product development and manufacturing processes.
