Position Overview
As a key member of KPMG's ABG practice in Hobart, you will engage directly with clients, contributing to their success. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing a diverse skill set to assist clients in bringing innovative technologies to market, encompassing technology development, business growth strategies, and global market assessments.Quickly analyzing technical information to align with program funding requirements, including the R&D Tax Incentive and other growth-supporting initiatives.Evaluating financial data to identify eligible costs for government support, particularly qualifying R&D expenditures.Building collaborative relationships with clients' R&D teams, CIOs, CFOs, and Tax Managers to understand their operations and facilitate growth.Exhibiting strong planning, scheduling, and budgeting skills while managing a portfolio of clients.Defining your career path within a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional service to clients and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

Desirable experience with the R&D Tax Incentive (ideally one to two years).Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Science, or Business, Commerce, or Law.A technology-focused mindset with a strong interest in innovation and R&D.Exceptional communication and report writing capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).A strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.An inquisitive mindset with a business-oriented focus and a willingness to engage with clients regularly.A valid Australian driver's license is required.
