About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Counselling Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counselling services to patients and their families, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Salary:

The salary range for this position is AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Clinical Practice

  • To provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions;
  • To work collaboratively with other health professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient;
  • To participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Psychology or related field, with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology preferred;
  • Eligibility for registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Experience in mental health settings, preferably in a hospital or community-based setting.
