The Victorian Disability Advisory Council offers a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute to shaping policies and initiatives that promote the inclusion and participation of people with disability in the Victorian community. As a member of this council, you will have the chance to provide independent advice to the Minister for Disability on matters affecting people with disability.

The council's work is focused on developing strategies for improving accessibility and inclusivity in Victoria. Members are expected to possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of government policies and programs affecting people with disability. They should also be able to demonstrate their ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and to provide effective advice to the Minister for Disability.

The appointment is up to 30 July 2028. Members will be remunerated for their contributions to the council's work. If you are a First Nations person with disability or a carer for someone with disability, we encourage you to apply for this role.
