Bridge Maintenance Professional

As a key member of our North West Bridges Team, you will be responsible for the investigation, design, procurement, and construction of bridge maintenance schemes.
The role involves collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure successful completion of projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Detailed design of bridge maintenance schemes
- Ensuring compliance with technical standards
- Preparing reports, investigations, feasibility studies, and assessments
- Collaborating within NW Bridges and other departments
- Supporting commercial teams with tender evaluations and contract awards
- Procurement, supervision, and measurement of maintenance works
- Working with environmental specialists to ensure environmental screening and mitigation measures
- Adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures
- Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and conducting risk assessments
We seek self-motivated individuals interested in career progression with good teamwork and communication skills, flexibility, and a valid driving license.
Candidates should have civil engineering design experience, knowledge of health and safety, environmental, and commercial aspects of schemes, and be professionally qualified or working towards such qualifications.
