About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HDPE Pipe Welder to join our team at the Perdaman Project Ceres. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the installation and testing of underground fire water deluge systems, hydrant systems, and hose reels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Previous experience in construction in a remote environment is preferred.
  • Experience in underground HDPE piping systems in large industrial sites, working in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Pre-Fabrication, Installation and Testing of underground fire water deluge system, hydrant systems and hose reels.
  • Previous experience working in a large Green Fields construction environment.
Requirements
  • HDPE/Pipe welding and installation experience with associated qualifications; PMBWeld301, PMBWeld302, PMBWeld305, PMB Weld309.
  • Must have Poly welding accreditation for Electrofusion butt welding of piping.
  • Previous mine and construction experience.
  • Construction Industry White card – Must have.
  • Current Australian 'C' Class Driver's License – Optional.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
  • Full Working Rights in Australia.
  • Ability to read Isometric Piping Drawings and Lay out drawings.
  • EWP.
  • Working at Heights.
