Job Title: Internal Audit Professional
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the Department of Justice by delivering high-quality internal audit services. As a key member of the Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in providing assurance and consulting activities to add value and improve the operations of the Department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze governance, corporate management, risk management and control processes across all relevant audit categories (financial, compliance, operational and performance)
  • Perform reviews, investigations and data analytics to identify areas for improvement
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of strategic and annual audit plans for the Department
  • Manage and perform audits and reviews across DoJ

Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary audit concepts and professional standards
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

About This Role:This role contributes to the development and delivery of strategic and annual audit plans for the Department, particularly relating to financial, legislative compliance and operational effectiveness audits.
