Join Our Team as a Diploma Child Care Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma Child Care Educator to join our team at KU Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our children.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a monthly rostered day off. You will be working in a high-performing, welcoming, and close-knit team that is passionate about providing an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover, and learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a child-safe culture and ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in our service
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child-safe practices
  • A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
