The Registered Midwife is an essential part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role focuses on providing woman-centered, evidence-based midwifery care that drives positive health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team.
- To ensure that each patient receives personalized care that meets their unique needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking skills
- A commitment to delivering person-centered care and adhering to NSW Health Core Values
- Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy
