Soil Biogeochemist Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join our dynamic research team at Griffith University. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing innovative nitrogen fertilizers for diversified agricultural systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and conduct glasshouse and field experiments to evaluate the effects of novel fertilizers on plant performance, soil health, and environmental impacts.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from glasshouse and field experiments.
- Develop and maintain a strong publication record in high-impact journals; manage and contribute to the preparation of publications, presentations, and research reports.
- Assist in developing research proposals and support the mentoring and supervision of higher degree research candidates.
- PhD in Soil Science, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or relevant science-based discipline.
- Expertise in designing and conducting glasshouse and field experiments, including technical proficiency with relevant equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Proven track record of publications in high-impact journals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with research teams, participants, stakeholders, and an ability to work independently and meet competing deadlines.
