As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer adoption of our Microsoft Azure cloud services. This position is based in Sydney Australia and requires working in a pre-sales capacity to identify candidate workloads, design and architect appropriate solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and move customers into active consumption of our Azure-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify Customer Opportunities: Identify potential solution fits for our 1st & 3rd Party offerings in Azure using MEDDICC methodology.
- Solution Design: Design comprehensive solutions incorporating software systems, cloud platform, and professional services, and deliver technical workshops to demonstrate these solutions (CAF, Well Architected).
- Presentation and Communication: Present at customer and partner briefings, sales meetings, corporate events, etc., effectively communicating solution benefits.
- Proof-of-Concept Execution: Design and execute proofs-of-concept to illustrate solution fit within the customer's environment.
- Handover New Business: Transfer new customer wins to Professional Services and/or Customer Success teams.
- Industry Engagement: Participate in or host industry meet-ups and user groups.
- Knowledge Sharing: Publish reference architectures, significant wins, best practices, both internally and externally.
- Brand Management: Create and maintain a brand presence through blogging and YouTube channels.
- Customer Opportunity Status: Maintain accurate customer opportunity status in Salesforce.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on public cloud services developments, acquire/maintain technical expertise, and develop/enhance processes and techniques employed by Sales and Technical teams.
