Job Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Dooralong. This casual position requires flexibility and availability over a 7 day roster, including some night shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective support to participants, ensuring a safe and structured environment is maintained in accordance with TSA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support participants in line with established frameworks and policies
  • Assist case workers to address client needs, administer programs and contribute to case plans
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or similar discipline
  • Knowledge of AOD/Gambling, Community Services and Health Sectors
  • Understanding of issues faced by people experiencing AOD and Gambling related issues, mental ill health and disabilities
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and culturally diverse communities
  • Current Driver's license and First Aid Certificate
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
