Medical Educator in Rural General Practice

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Educator to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of GP registrars and practices. As a Medical Educator, you will provide targeted support and education, guiding registrars through their training journey. You will work collaboratively with Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for registrars and practices.
You will build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, tailoring your support to meet local needs and promote optimal training and progress. Your expertise will also be invaluable in supporting supervisors with professional development and in-practice teaching.
Key Responsibilities- Provide peer learning sessions, one-on-one support, and practice visits to registrars
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement educational programs
- Support supervisors with professional development and in-practice teaching
- RACGP fellowship (or equivalent)
- Experience in teaching or mentoring registrars, medical students, or peers
