Our Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit at Noarlunga Hospital in Adelaide's vibrant southern suburbs offers a unique opportunity to work with culturally diverse populations and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect patient care with a commitment to high quality and safe care practices.
- Support cultural safety in patient care and service delivery.
- Offer therapeutic interventions, assessments, rehabilitation planning, and education services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consumers, families, and supportive others to provide individual and group-based interventions.
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice) or equivalent qualifications.
- Registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia (ATSIHPBA).
- Completed training and/or education in mental health or a related field.
- Proven experience in engagement activities, clinical health assessments, treatment, referral, psychosocial support, advocacy, and record keeping for consumers with complex health issues.
