IP Optical Sales Director Job Opportunity

The IP Optical Sales Director is a strategic role responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for Service Provider accounts, Channels, and Enterprise verticals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Define and execute sales plans to meet or exceed quota targets in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Channel Partner Management: Recruit, train, and manage channel partners to develop pipeline opportunities.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify top direct and indirect sales opportunities to build a robust sales plan.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and submit regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in IP and Optical sales.
  • Established customer relationships and proven ability to build new trusted relationships in defined markets.
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment in exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive environment.
  • Ability to work remotely, independently, and manage all sales activities for all accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business acumen skills.
  • Able to find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Business degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time as required.
