Salary

A highly competitive salary package is on offer for this role, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum plus superannuation. Additionally, you will be entitled to overtime pay, meal allowances, and other benefits.

Job Description

This role involves overseeing and maintaining warehouse inventory levels, ensuring goods are stored in accordance with guidelines and regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for the efficient movement of materials to and from the warehouse, accurately capturing all transactions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with maintenance planning teams to support logistics, material, and staging requirements for major events such as shutdowns.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service as the main point of warehouse contact, including the staging of materials, picking of goods, processing sales orders, freight requests, and notifying end users of orders received on site.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, such as processing and maintenance, to support their material requirements for scheduled work and process parts returns when required.
  • Work closely with maintenance planning teams to support logistics, material, and staging requirements for major events such as shutdowns.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors, in collaboration with the purchasing department.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure alignment on inventory and forecast requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High Risk Work Licence: Forklift (LF)
  • A Driver's license (C Class, manual car)
  • Signed warehousing experience, preferably within mining operations
  • Experience using Pronto and/or equivalent ERP systems as well as MS Office
  • Proficient in managing repairable goods processes.
  • A good understanding of inventory control and/or purchasing.
