About the Role

The Clinical Director for our Pain Management and Chronic Care team is a key position responsible for the operational management of the service. The successful candidate will work closely with the Medical Head of Unit to provide clinical oversight and ensure the provision of high-quality services to non-admitted clients referred for assessment and treatment of chronic pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the operational efficiency of the service to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Lead a team of approximately 19 staff, ensuring effective management and coordination of resources.
  • Oversee research programs conducted in the service, in collaboration with the Medical Head of Unit.
Requirements
  • A relevant Allied Health or Nursing qualification.
  • Eligibility for registration or membership of the relevant professional body.
  • At least 10 years of postgraduate experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Highly developed negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of the healthcare sector and its strategic direction.

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
