Senior Safety and Wellbeing Partnership Specialist

Grill'd is a leading burger company that prioritizes sustainability, community involvement, and employee well-being. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety and Wellbeing Partnership Specialist to join our Support Office in Richmond.
About the RoleThis role will involve partnering with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
In this role, you will:
- Lead technical and subject matter expertise components of the People team, ensuring systems, processes, data, and documentation meet internal and external requirements.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation and industry best practice.
- Develop and execute safety, health, and wellbeing training and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
- Manage crisis situations, conduct investigations on incidents and accidents, and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Own all communications relating to safety, health, and wellbeing, ensuring content is engaging and appropriate for Grill'd leaders and teams.
- Responsible for reporting and data integrity, managing safety, health, and wellbeing data, analytics, and insights.
- Lead, develop, and enhance relationships with state and territory regulators in collaboration with state-based teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety and experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to Grill'd.
- Experience in hospitality, FMCG, or retail is highly desirable.
- Strong technical safety, health, and wellbeing skills and experience, including systems, reporting, risk, and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Solid understanding of State and Territory legislative requirements and ability to keep up-to-date with new safety and wellbeing trends and approaches.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Grill'd leaders and key stakeholders through effective relationship building, influencing, and coaching.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
