Catholic Healthcare is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality care to older adults. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Housekeeping Assistants in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

About the Role:

  • Provide resident meal service, including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience
  • Support colleagues and maintain a cooperative team spirit
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents by following all policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of cleaning and food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain
