Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Airport Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our airport activities.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to airside operations, including:

  • Safe airside driving and vehicle checks
  • Loading and unloading trucks on to aircraft
  • Guiding and positioning trucks in line with company and airport policies
  • Coordinating with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over

You will also be required to perform administrative duties, including documentation, reporting, and cleaning as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The following are the key responsibilities of this role:

  1. Operate vehicles safely on airside areas
  2. Conduct basic vehicle checks, including re-fuelling
  3. Load and unload trucks on to aircraft using airline equipment
  4. Position trucks in line with company and airport policies
  5. Coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over
  6. Perform administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and cleaning as needed
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of a MR Truck licence (HR driver's license preferred)
  • The ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks
  • The ability to work varied shifts across a 7-day roster
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The requirement to obtain a clear National Police Check due to working in the Aviation Services industry
