Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our Operational Risk team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the evolution of our fraud risk management framework.
As a Operational Risk Manager, you will be responsible for the uplift, communication, and governance of our fraud suite of policies. You will also determine clear principles and oversight metrics to measure the effectiveness of those policies and the appetite of fraud risk across the group.
In our independent review capacity, you will ensure that fraud risk and control self-assessments reflect the risk profile of the businesses, are current and comprehensive, while analysing fraud incidents, issues, and related uplift initiatives across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate fraud risk
- Collaborate with business and risk management leaders to ensure alignment with group risk appetite
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management policies and procedures
- Provide expert advice on risk management best practices
