About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Centre Cook to join our team at Goodstart Queens Park. As a Centre Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our children, ensuring their health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare meals that meet the dietary needs of our children, including those with special requirements and allergies.
- Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director to ensure we have the necessary ingredients.
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks.
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and other staff to achieve our goals and objectives.
About You:
We are looking for someone with:
Experience working in hospitality, catering, or a similar field.Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.What We Offer:
