Senior Dentist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dentist to join our team in providing high-quality oral health care services. As a key member of our dental unit, you will be responsible for delivering general dentistry services with a focus on medically compromised patients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Unrestricted registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a clinical unit/service.
  • High level of clinical independence as a senior dentist with ability to accept referrals from junior dentists and oral health therapists.
  • Advanced clinical skills and clinical reasoning abilities in managing complex medical histories, children and those with physical and mental disabilities.
  • Exceptional competence in dentistry with proven record of carrying out advanced and complex dental procedures under oral sedation, relative analgesia and general anaesthesia.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with individuals including the general public.
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, mentor junior staff, teach undergraduate students and provide clinical supervision.
