We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team on a casual basis. As a Laboratory Analyst - Soil and Water Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and analysing water and soil samples, interpreting results, and ensuring data accuracy through LIMS.
The Key Responsibilities- Sample Preparation: Prepare water and soil samples for analysis, adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Analysis: Operate and maintain metals analysis equipment (ICP-MS, ICP-OES), ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Result Entry: Enter analysis results into LIMS, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Turnaround Time: Meet strict turnaround times for sample analysis and result entry.
- Safety Focus: Adhere to all safety requirements, prioritising the well-being of yourself and colleagues.
We are looking for a highly organised and effective communicator who can work both independently and in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisational skills, and attention to detail.

- Excellent Organisational Skills: Manage multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and ensuring seamless workflow.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
