Loader Operator Job Description

We are seeking experienced individuals to fill a Loader Operator position in our Production Mining Team at Western Australia.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers diverse opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output, complying with policies and procedures, responding to instructions from the Mining Supervisor, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to ensure maximum output
  • Comply with policies and procedures
  • Respond to instructions from the Mining Supervisor
  • Maintain pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment
  • Set and maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Carry out pre-start checks

About You:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience operating a CAT 992 Loader in a production mining operation including loading at the ROM
  • Possess strong mining operational skills and be able to demonstrate your ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
  • Valid Australian drivers license
