Cyber Security and Software Engineering Professor

We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our team as a Professor of Cyber Security and Software Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research and teaching in cyber security and software engineering, with a demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-quality curricula and pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching: Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, provide academic counseling, and adhere to university teaching rules.
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning/Research: Maintain an active record of producing quality research or scholarship of teaching outputs consistent with discipline norms, collaborate on teaching and research projects, and utilize best practice teaching and assessment methodologies.
- Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, recruit and manage employees, provide performance feedback and training, resolve conflicts, and ensure correct remuneration and benefits.
- Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.
We are looking for someone with a PhD in the discipline area, demonstrated expert knowledge in cyber security and software engineering, and a strong track record of research or industry-relevant work in cyber security. The successful candidate will also have experience in teaching cyber security and software engineering courses, a strong ability to align student learning with industry needs, and a growing record of meaningful internal service roles.
