Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Protective Coating Applicator to fill a critical role in our team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  1. Spray protective coatings to specifications and dry film thicknesses, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards.
  2. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and colleagues.
  3. Use abrasive blasting equipment with precision, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.

This is a full-time position available in a busy blast and paint facility. The successful candidate will work 38 hours per week, with overtime available when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply protective coatings to metal surfaces using spray equipment.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials around the facility.
  • Use abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for coating.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
