Job Description

Role Overview

The Australian Industry Trade College is seeking a skilled and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, focusing on Essential English and English (QCAA Short Course Literacy) for Year 10 to 12 students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum programs to achieve expected outcomes for students, ensuring all assessment and compliance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Professional Standards: Perform in accordance with the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Collaborative Planning: Contribute to the planning, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of quality teaching and learning programs in a collaborative manner.
  • Student Well-being: Enhance the well-being and holistic growth of students through the development of supportive learning environments, quality communication, and effective classroom management.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher and be currently registered with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or have provisional registration with eligibility for full registration.
