About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support our Store Managers in overseeing the day-to-day operation of our retail stores. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, collaborating closely with our Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience, and setting a positive example for our store team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Store Managers in overseeing store operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience and resolve less complex problems.
  • Supervise and train junior team members, providing on-site training and guidance.
  • Build meaningful and long-term relationships with customers, demonstrating the skill of building strong relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of strong experience in customer-facing roles involving sales.
  • Experience supervising other workers and delivering on-site training to junior team members.
  • Ability to demonstrate the skill of building meaningful and long-term relationships with customers.
  • Collaborative and consultative team-work and leadership style.
