We seek an experienced and trade-qualified Field Service Supervisor to oversee and support our Field Service team while delivering expert service and technical support to our valued customers.
You will ensure hydraulic systems operate at peak performance through supervision, troubleshooting, fault-finding, repairs, and commissioning—both on-site and in the workshop.
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to a professional with strong technical ability, a passion for mentoring others, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and coordinate all field service activities, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
- Evaluate and report incidents, maintaining a strong safety culture across the team.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular engagement, professional communication, and the promotion of service products.
- Drive service quality by managing lead times, addressing non-conformances, and overseeing compliance across testing, tagging, and certification.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth job flow, accurate reporting, and effective resource planning.
Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience:
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in field service and hydraulic system maintenance, ideally in a supervisory or team-leading capacity
- Strong hydraulic systems knowledge with advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with a hands-on leadership style
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
