Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct early intervention and psychological worksite assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized recovery plans.
  • Participate in medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison to ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients, employers, and healthcare providers.
  • Provide rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counseling to support clients in achieving their goals and returning to work.
  • Undertake vocational assessments to determine clients' suitability for various occupations and provide guidance on career development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or full/associate membership with the Australian Society of Occupational Rehabilitation Counsellors/Rural and Community Allied Health Australia.
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills to effectively interact with clients, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • A go-getter attitude with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and taking pride in one's work.
  • Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle to facilitate travel to clients' workplaces and homes.

Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000 AUD based on experience and qualifications.
