About Our Team

We are seeking a qualified and experienced educator to lead our toddler room.

  • The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be studying) with a high level of interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills, thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF/QKLG, and confident in implementing outstanding programming and experiences for children.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the toddler room team, developing and implementing high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A current Blue Card or Exemption to ensure compliance with child safety regulations.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate to provide emergency care when needed.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Working Conditions:

  • A 5-day workweek with flexible open and close shifts to accommodate various schedules.
  • Availability to work a range of shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm to meet the needs of the centre.
