Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounts payable functions through driving P2P compliance and providing appropriate coverage in the processing of supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies, and preparing payments.

This includes reconciling vendor statements and investigating reconciling amounts on relevant general ledger accounts. The ideal candidate will have intermediate Excel skills, a proven ability to prioritise workload and forward plan, great communication skills, both verbally and in writing, attention to detail, and experience in Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing accounts payable functions through driving P2P compliance and providing appropriate coverage in the processing of supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies, and preparing payments
  • Reconciling vendor statements and investigating reconciling amounts on relevant general ledger accounts
  • Engaging with vendors, internal stakeholders, and users to adopt and maintain excellent user experience, and success on P2P processes
  • Driving standardisation and business compliance in the P2P process and systems with both suppliers and business users
  • Assisting with providing training to end users

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and forward plan
  • Great communication skills, both verbally and in writing
