We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Governance Manager to join our team at the State Revenue Office Victoria. As a key member of our Finance and Administration Branch, you will play a critical role in leading and managing our Risk and Governance team to achieve high standards of performance, accountability, collaboration, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic development and implementation of our risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and practices consistent with the Victorian Government Risk Management framework.
- Develop, maintain, and implement an active Business Continuity and Crisis Management program.
- Manage our Audit programs, including development, management, and oversight of the Internal Audit Program and coordination of external audits, reviews, and inquiries.
- Manage and ensure that our insurance coverage provides an appropriate level of coverage to support our business operations.
- Proven experience in the development and application of risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures, including a sound understanding of risk management standards, trends, and issues across a variety of sectors, including government.
- A proven record of achievement in a senior management role.
- Ability to implement performance management and development frameworks that manage staff performance, build organisational capability, and support individual development.
- Demonstrated high-level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written) to consult, negotiate, and advocate with stakeholders and to meet stakeholder and customer needs.
