The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team at KU Alfred Child Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, while also contributing to the development of our centre's programs and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging programs that promote children's learning and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve centre goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development of centre policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Australian working rights.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- An ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates.
- Completed Child Protection Training, as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices.
- A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).
- A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF).
